Introducing the Eyepiece Astro Glow-Rings (Patent Pend)

These rings are designed to custom fit devices up to 65mm in diameter, but you can link them together and expand your application. They have elasticity to fit tightly around each eyepiece, tripos leg, etc. designed for dark location viewing for general public & individuals that are not familiar with where they look. “Where do I look”. They are charged from the sun or artificial white light such as cell phone flash light, but can be greatly enhanced with a UV light.(included when you buy 3 or more rings!).

The photos above are the rings at normal glow, the key ring UV light and enhanced glow rings from the UV light. This makes for a more flexible light for your viewing area.

The rings can also be used on telescope tripod legs for added safety.

This wonderful device allows you to simply plug in to the CCD/Auto guider port on telescope mounts. Doing so allows you to observe the moon at high power and control the telescope with the joystick at defulted telescope slowest speed, giving an Apollo port hole type experience. This is GREAT FOR KIDS! to control and interact with the telescope!

No batteries required

Most telescope controllers are cumbersome and loaded with buttons that can be accidentally pressed. It may also be used for high powered star clusters, nebula's such as the Vail and Orion. Other uses can be to manually align guide stars in astrophotography.

Basic Quick Connect Set

Telescope Quickconnect System (Patented)

Designed for all SCT Telescopes, The primary advantage of using the connectors is to greatly enhance the connection time with all telescope accessories preventing cross-threading and expensive damage to the telescope’s rear cell and/or accessories. The connection time it takes is fractional to conventional threaded method. Also the Quick-connectors do not lock up when temperature changes like threaded connectors do. All Quick-connectors are made with high-grade anodized aluminum and uses a 34 lb. compression four point steel wave spring, that is design to hold up to the some of the most complex configurations. Comes with a flexure chart. There are two main components used, (1) A Unit (attaches to the telescope), (1) B Unit for the accessory to be mated to the telescope. Each and every telescope accessory uses a B Unit, The A and B Units are all installed one time and need not be removed. See Figure 1 The conventional method consists of screwing the fine threaded ring of all accessories available for the telescopes on the 2” threaded back of the rear cell of the telescope. This can be some what difficult in the dark and to those who are not familiar with the task. the conventional method takes an average 10 to 12 seconds to install and 7 to 8 seconds to remove. The Quick-Connect system takes about 2 seconds to install and one second to remove an accessory, This is a plus for astrophotography applications! Below are a few examples of accessory attachments using the Quick-Connect system. Originally designed for Alt-Az applications, This works well with basic accessory lengths to achieve maximum fork clearance, It is highly recommended to use an equatorial mount for more complex applications, such as CCD imaging, focal reducers, moto-focusers, etc.Please see the Youtube Video for more  details
